Hi, and welcome to Lady Margot Creative! My name is Katie and Margot was my beloved Cocker Spaniel. When I decided to revamp my freelance business, I wasn't sure what to call it. Then I thought, what better way to pay tribute to Margot was to name my creative endeavor after her! She was the one who kept me company through my younger years and late nights on my laptop.

After I graduated from Belmont University with B.F.A. in Design Communications, I took an internship with a land developer as a graphic designer. This was my first real-world job where I could utilize design skills and get a taste of the corporate world. Unfortunately, the real estate market crashed and our marketing department was decimated. I quickly found myself without a job and not sure what to do. This is when Lady Margot came into my life as an 8-week old puppy.

Years later, I craved a creative outlet and started Lady Margot Creative to help businesses and entrepreneurs with their branding and marketing.
