Hi, and welcome to Lady Margot Creative! My name is Katie and Lady Margot was my beloved black and white Cocker Spaniel. When I decided to revamp my freelance business, I wasn't sure what to call it. Then I thought, what better way to pay tribute to Lady Margot was to name my creative business after her! She was the one who kept me company through multiple jobs and late nights on my laptop.

After I graduated from Belmont University with B.F.A. in Design Communications, I took an internship with a land developer as a graphic designer. This was my first real-world job where I could utilize design skills and get a taste of the corporate world. Unfortunately for me, the real estate market crashed and our marketing department was decimated. I quickly found myself without a job and not sure what to do. This is when Lady Margot came into my life as an 8-week old puppy!

11 years later here I am. I craved a creative outlet and thought what better way than to lend my creative skills to businesses and organizations that need a little help with their branding, marketing and creative communications.
